Pavel Kim was a self-taught actor and a great workaholic. It is partly due to this quality that he was given a title “Honored Artist”. Pavel Kim graduated from a mechanical engineering college. During the Second World War he served on the labor front. He became a part of the Korean Theater in 1949. He fluently spoke Korean, which helped him create dozens of interesting roles, the best of which are: Deer in the play “The Legend of the Hare” based on the Korean legend, Yesun in the play “Living Buddha” based on the play by Han Ding, Zhantyk in the play “Kozy-Korpesh and Bayan -Sulu” by G. Musrepov and others.
The satirical characters, which he played, were considered the most successful works of Pavel Kim in the theater. Pavel Kim, in addition to acting, had many other talents. He wrote poetry, plays, and excellent literary trifles of the artists, and was an active freelance correspondent for the Lenin Kichi newspaper. A comedic play was staged based on his work “Spring Trouble” in 1984.
