The musical is about a brave and selfless girl Sim Chong, who sacrificed herself to save her father from the schemes of a treacherous monk and greedy merchants. But good always wins and Sim Chong is rewarded for her suffering.
The father, Sim Bon Sa, is blind and raises his daughter alone with the help from friendly neighbors. But nearby also hang around a cunning and greedy aunt Pyang Dek and the Monk. They trick the poor girl and sell her to merchants, promising that her father will see the light. Sim Chоng does not hesitate and rushes into the seething abyss, but finds herself in a fabulous underwater world…
