A large-scale production by the Sejong Center for Culture and Art, Seoul, about the life and activities of the State Republican Academic Korean Theater of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 1937-1943. The protagonist of the musical is the legendary national hero of Korea, Hong Beom Do, who modestly worked as a caretaker of the Korean theater in the city of Kyzyl-Orda in the last years of his life. Even during the life of the hero, the play “Flying Hong Bom Do” was written by the young playwright of the theater Thai Dyan Chun and staged in 1942. The musical contains both historical facts and fiction.
