A well-known theatrical figure, People’s Artist of Kazakhstan, director, professor, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureate of the National Prize “Altyn Adam” in the nomination “Worker of Culture”, winner of the independent award “Platinum Tarlan”, holder of the orders of the Red Banner of Labor, ” Parasat” and Friendship (RF), Ruben Surenovich Andriasyan.
For more than a quarter of a century, he was the artistic director of the National Academic Russian Drama Theater named after M. Yu. Lermontov. An outstanding director and a wonderful teacher, he staged over a hundred performances in the country and abroad¸ bringing up hundreds of young actors.
Ruben Surenovich made an invaluable contribution to the development of theatrical art. He lived a decent life, left a rich cultural heritage and will forever remain in our memory.
