On December 16 and 17 on the stage of the Korean Theater the premiere of the philosophical drama «the Moth», based on the play by Zhumagul Soltieva, took place!
The story is about two young guys who are looking for the meaning of their existence, trying to fight temptations and regain their hope for a better future, each in their own way.
The mystical atmosphere of the play, created by the stage director Ekaterina Pen is filled with deep symbolic images and metaphors, creating internal tension in the search for spiritual answers. The visual and music enhance the philosophical perception of the work, forcing the audience to think about the nature of the human soul and its ability to overcome difficulties. Anna Tsoi’s choreography adds dynamics and depth to the emotional experiences of the characters. Maria Golm’s artwork creates a mysterious atmosphere in which reality intersects with illusion. Ella Baiysbayeva’s music emphasizes the mood of the production, and Liana Strelnikova’s original costumes add “sharpness” to the characters’ images.
«The Moth» was a highlight of the 93rd theatrical season, by referring to the eternal themes of choice, faith and hope.
It was a long-awaited premiere! Thanks to everyone who shared this time with us!
