Today, on International Theater Day, the A. Abai Kazakh State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater stage held a festive concert.
For the first time, the Association of Theaters of Kazakhstan holds a festive evening dedicated to the Year of Youth with the participation of theaters in Almaty. Asanali Ashimov, President of the Association of Theaters, delivered a cheerful greeting.
Young talents were noted and awarded, including Timur Liang, Anel Kogay, Evgenia Yun and Marina Zhumasheva, outstanding artists of the State Republican Academic Korean Theater of Musical Comedy.
The dynamic and bright drum show of the Korean Theater became a real decoration of the solemn ceremony.
Brief information about ATK
The Association of Theaters of Kazakhstan (ATK) was established in 2016. The main goal of the Association is to promote the formation of a world-class image in state theaters, strengthen corporate ties with foreign theater organizations, increase the intellectual potential and capabilities of the theater, develop professional skills among young artists, and create an atmosphere of creative search in theater groups.
“We declare that the goals and objectives of the “Association of Theaters of Kazakhstan” will meet the challenges of the time and contribute to the theatrical community of Kazakhstan, represent our diverse culture at the international level,” the decision of the Constituent Assembly of the State Republican Theaters of the Republic of Kazakhstan says.
The Association annually gives out the Sakhnager National Theater Award.
