On June 9, in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, as part of the Ruhani Zhangyru program, a tour of the State Republican Academic Korean Theater of Musical Comedy took place. The team of the Korean Theater, after a long break and thanks to the cooperation of the Association of Koreans of Kazakhstan and the Public Association of Koreans of the Kyrgyz Republic, got the opportunity to meet with their audience at the State Theater of Russian Drama named after. Ch. Aitmatova. Bishkek viewers saw the theatrical performance “Bound by one fate”, which tells about the main milestones in the history of the Koreans of the former USSR. These are the resettlement of Koreans to the Russian Far East, deportation to Central and Central Asia, the war, the post-war restoration of the country and the formation of independent Kazakhstan, the acquisition of sovereignty by it. In this theatrical performance, the artists expressed simple, important truths formulated by the program of Ruhani Zhangyru, which are fully shared by Kazakhstani Koreans – aspiration for the future, a desire to preserve their primordial values to enrich the common Kazakhstani culture and the common destinies of all citizens of our country without exception. The audience, close to their hearts and not holding back tears, took the concert of the Korean theater. Their emotions after the end of the performance were expressed by the President of the Public Association of Koreans of the Kyrgyz Republic Vyacheslav Khan: “For a long time we nurtured the idea of inviting the Korean Theater of Kazakhstan, but we didn’t even imagine how it was possible to tell the whole story of our ancestors, compressing it into an hour and a half of narration. Those hour and a half flew by like in a blink of an eye.
