On April 28, in Astana, in the Palace of Peace and Accord, within the framework of the XXVI session of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, a festive concert “Astana – 20 years of success and victories!”, Dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took place.
Over the years, the capital has become a symbol of the country’s independence and the successful implementation of the initiatives of the Head of State, the center of Kazakhstan’s socio-political and cultural life. The changes that have taken place in the city’s life during this time amaze the imagination with the scale and boldness of the plans for transferring the capital.
The population of Astana has become younger and has increased significantly, the city has become the largest political, administrative, cultural, educational, and medical center not only in Kazakhstan but throughout the Central Asian region. Thanks to a balanced, unified cultural policy of building a multinational state, Astana has become a city of peace and harmony, reflecting all the changes that have taken place in the country since its independence.
“Astana is a symbol of the renewal of Kazakhstan, a symbol of the inexhaustible creative energy of its multinational people. This is a symbol of the faith of people, who, in far from the easiest times, began to build a new capital, in their own strength. This is a symbol of hope and confidence of a nation that has gained freedom in its prosperous future, in the future of its descendants,” said Nursultan Nazarbayev in the book “In the Heart of Eurasia”.
The team of the State Republican Academic Korean Theater of Musical Comedy enthusiastically took part in the festive concert. Dramatic actors, vocalists, musicians and the ballet of traditional Korean dance performed for the audience a festive number “Achim noyl” (Dawn), prepared specially for the anniversary of our Capital.
