On January 22nd, a Seollal 2023 solemn event was held on the stage of the Palace of the Republic, dedicated to the celebration of the Lunar New Year, organized by the Association of Koreans of Kazakhstan (AKK) and the Almaty Korean National Center (AKNC)
The event was attended by all creative community organizations that are in the AKK and AKNC, and that is more than 500 people, as well as a specially invited guest – a singer Roza Rymbaeva.
Traditionally, the Republican State Academic Korean Theater took part in the event, presenting its theatrical performance in a separate block.
Among the guests of honor were: Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dosaev, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan Marat Azilkhanov and Consul General of the Republic of Korea Pak Ne Chon.
