“Koblandy” is an interpretation of the story of the great hero, presented in the genre of plastic drama, a symbol of the Kazakh Khanate. The performance “Koblandy” is a combination of harmony of movement and plasticity of the body, created by choreographer Anna Tsoi, as well as co-director Ekaterina Pen.
The performance touches on key moments from Koblanda’s life through the dynamics of body movements and immerses into the atmosphere of what is happening with the help of music. This is a story of love for the motherland, encounters with urgent problems, both in the past and in the present, a story of heroism and betrayal.
