On March 11, as part of an official visit at the invitation of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a delegation of the Parliament of the delegation of the Republic of Korea, headed by Speaker of the Parliament Chung Se Gyun, visited the State Republican Academic Korean Theater of Musical Comedy.
The official part of the evening was opened by the Consul General of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Kazakhstan John Seung Min.
Also welcoming speeches were made by: Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Vladimir Bozhko, Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arystanbek Mukhamediuly and President of the Association of Koreans of Kazakhstan Sergey Ogay.
In his response speech, Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Korea Chung Se Gyun thanked the Kazakh side for the warm and cordial welcome, introduced all members of the parliamentary delegation to the audience, and also assured that the current visit would further strengthen interstate ties and develop the national culture of Kazakh Koreans.
After the end of the official part, the Korean Theater team presented a theatrical performance “In the Native Land” before the distinguished guests. The audience warmly and cordially accepted the program of the evening.
