From March 29 to April 1, Yuzhnouralsk (Russian Federation) hosted the XII International Festival-Competition “Yuzhnouralsk – Salzburg”, organized by the administration of the Yuzhnouralsk urban district (Chelyabinsk region), the Schlossconcert of Salzburg (Austria), the Yuzhnouralsk State Institute of Arts, named after P.I. Tchaikovsky, in which the best vocal, choreographic and instrumental ensembles and solo performers took part. In total, more than 300 participants from Russia, Kazakhstan, Germany, Belarus took part in the festival-competition. Artists from Nuremberg acted as honorary guests of the festival program.
The leading vocalist of our theater Angelina Yugay took part in the prestigious international festival-competition, who managed to win the Grand Prix of the competition! Angelina also received an invitation to Salzburg (Austria) to participate in the Summer Festival at the best concert venues in Austria, where little Mozart once performed.
